The Naval Vanguard Initiative

The Naval Research Laboratories' Vanguard Initiative is a high level classified "super soldier" program that was launched in 2029 with the mission to research and develop future Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps equipment, weapons and body armors. The program is designed to investigate various futuristic technologies, including strength enhancement and mind boosting drugs, powered exoskeletons, unconventional undersea and oceanic war-fighting technologies, and artificially intelligent assistants.

The first Naval Vanguard!

In restarting the DC movie universe, James Gunn has named the opening sequence of shows and movies "Gods and Monsters."  Well, in starting our own little fictional comic universe we have decided to term our opening set of stories as "Naval Legends and Myths," in which our own heroes, both original and from the vast universe known as the comic book public domain, are introduced here, via our website. All of our stories will be written with the assistance of artificial intelligence, which we believe is a useful tool to content creators, writers and artists.  

Ultimately though, the final product will be human and not something solely computer generated.  Just like how computers help create crisp animated images, so to can computers help create more imaginative plot lines.  In Naval Legends and Myths we are introduced to the team of heroes of Earth 2069, where the heroes and villians of old, like the Blue Bolt, Captain Midnight and the Spider Queen are paired with younger aspiring heroes like Commander Marvel, Knightshade, Lady Spitfyre, and Swallow.
